Freedom for the Prostitutes: Donations at WM 2010 for Jim Yost's organization and ministry, "Set the Captives Free," provided for eight more prostitutes to go free! Since WM 2010, donations have continued to pour in. We're not sure of the total amount, yet more prostitutes are free!
Food for the Hungry and Afflicted: Over $41,000 was collected for the famine in North Korea!
Students find Jesus as the Way, Truth, and Life: A Baylor student and Antioch member invested a lot of prayer for his brother at Texas State...who happens to visit his praying brother during WM 2010...the brother gives his life and receives Jesus' washing grace, forgiveness, and new life! A Baylor student had visited Antioch before and had been loved on by other Antioch members, but during the WM 2010 Saturday night session a little love from friends turns into a face to face encounter with receiving the greatest love of all, Jesus! She continues in hunger for God and walking closely with her new community, lifegroup!
Art Makes a Difference for Haiti's Relief: Those amazing paintings were all auctioned with proceeds going to the relief work in Haiti. The total collected was $5,530!
God Is Divine, Not Coincidental: Last fall when we decided to interview Isabelle Redford, we obviously didn't know that the earthquake in Haiti was going to occur. That was a divine connection between our focus on Haiti at WM and Isabelle's life investing with the orphan homes in Haiti.
The Message and the Messenger: After the "Power Evangelism" seminar, attendees canvassed Waco with the message of the Gospel and His manifest Love! They were able to share and/or pray with over 400 people. In the end, 14 people received the message and gave their lives to follow Christ. Another eight experienced a physical healing of some kind!
How To Make World Mandate Worship...From God's Overflow: James Mark Gulley and his brother, Stephen, were out for a meal the Wednesday before WM 2010. At the restaurant, both began experiencing His love and presence. The song Worthy is the Lamb came together and there, with guitar, they finished writing the song! It was taught to the band the next day and used in a powerful way at World Mandate 2010.
